The difference a week makes

We recently returned from a trip to Utah, and let me tell you, Boise looks totally different. When we left, it was mostly brown with a few spring green patches. While in Kaysville, it snowed and was rather cool. I was expecting something similar to be the case in Boise. But just seven short days after we left for Utah, all four of our trees have leaves, our tulips and daffodils are in full bloom and our sprinklers are on. It is crazy how much can change in a few days. I absolutely love spring. I feel rejuvinated and alive. It's like I can't wait to go for walks, wear flip flops and have some good BBQ dinners. I love walking outside in the evening and not being freezing cold, but instead feel 'just right.'

I hope all of you take the time to appreciate the beauty of spring!

I LOVE Spring...minus the allergies I get. But this Spring has just been beautiful...with all of the beautiful colors. I get so excited for this time of year because of the walks and wearing flip flops too...goodbye sweaters, and boots!!

Kirk and I were in Boise just last weekend. We love the weather there! We live in Eastern Idaho right now, and lets just say that we had a blizzard today! Ugh!

I love your new spring blog makeover, too. Just in time for Mother's Day, I got to cut my first tulips for the vase I put on my table in the spring. We BBQ'd hot dogs yesterday, ate in our backyard, and played dodgeball. I love it! Don't worry about the Nicoll's, we're savouring every second.
