I've been tagged by Kalie Rae to tell you three of my joys, fears, goals, obessions and random surprises.
To start off my top three joys would be:
1. Steve and Tyler (tied for first)
2. Volleyball
3. Sleeping
Three fears:
1. Losing my husband or son...they are my life.
2. Hobo Spiders--I had a traumatic experience.
3. Not having enough money to meet our needs--don't ask me how we are going to get through the next three years! Please come and buy our house!
Three of my goals are:
1. Raise my children to be righteous, kind, and caring people.
2. Always take time to take care of myself and remember who I am.
3. Do everything I can to support Steve so he can focus on what he needs to.
My current three obsessions are as follows:
1. The Chronicles of Narnia books.
2. Running or walking every day.
3. Keeping the house clean--you never know if someone will want to come see the house. Poor Tyler, I don't let him make a mess of toys anymore. I just know that the day I don't clean up, someone will come.
And lastly, three random facts/surprises about myself:
1. I have to watch The Bachelorette each week. I'm not a sappy romantic, but I can't help it.
2. I can beat Steve at any speed card game. When it comes to strategy though, I need to improve. Although, I did beat Steve last weekend in an intense game of Scrabble!
3. I LOVE classical music. I would have to say it is my favorite type of music. Steve knew the way to my heart when he took me to the symphony for our first single date.
I now tag Andrea Cutler, Jamie Brasher, Jessica Kendall and Whitney Bassett.

First Family Pictures
From the moment Tyler was born, he's basically become the target of all of our picture taking. I must have taken over 1,000 pictures of my little man, and he's only 15 months old. Yet, I was procrastinating getting family pictures. I don't know why. I knew it was something that needed to be done, but I just couldn't do it. I finally gave in once I saw some pictures my friend Missy had taken. I decided that now was that time. I buckled down and made an appointment with her. After stressing to no end about what to wear, how Tyler would do, etc., the day arrived. Of course it was the first heat wave Boise had seen all spring so it was 92 degrees, and it was 30 minutes before Tyler's bedtime. Surprisingly, it went pretty well, not because of us, but because Missy is good...and she had candy for Tyler. These are our first attempts at a professional Pulley Family picture. I hope you like them!

Father's Day
This post is dedicated to the love of my life and the best father. Steve is so laid back, genuine, selfless and funny, that our house is a better place when he is home. He helps me keep my cool and not let things bother me. I knew when we got married that he would make a great father, but he has far exceeded my expectations. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching him with Tyler over the past fifteen months. I love to see the smile on Tyler's face when Steve gets home from work.

Tyler must know it is Father's Day soon or something. Over the past few days, Tyler has completely turned into a daddy's boy. He only wants to sit on Steve's lap, give him hugs or kisses, etc. Of course Steve is loving it!

I guess there are worse things in life than knowing that your husband loves his son more than anything. And as evident by the last two pictures, Tyler wants nothing more than to be like his Dad. I still feel like the lucky one, I get see them together every day.

Happy Father's Day Steve! I love you.

The past four years!
Since Steve and I celebrated our fourth anniversary yesterday, I've been thinking about some highlights of our life together. And since I'm addicted to blogging, I thought I'd share my thougths for everyone to see. We met playing volleyball at BYU and both knew this was something special. Steve and I got engaged December 28, 2003 at his home in Los Gatos, California. I was totally surprised when he asked me and I even said, "Are you serious?"
We were married on June 4, 2004 in the Salt Lake Temple. It is safe to say that we were both floating in the clouds all day!

Once we were married, we moved to Orem, Utah to finish school at BYU. We both had two years left. During those two years, we did a lot of fun things together. From camping and carving pumpkins, to late night studying in the Engineering building, we were happy just being together! We graduated in April of 2006. Steve was offered a job at Micron, so we made plans to move to Boise, Idaho.

Once we moved to Boise, we began getting to know the area. We both knew that this was a place we would love. We weren't near any family, or even anyone we knew, so we relied on each other. We bought our house in August of 2006. We feel blessed to be here and to have gotten to know so many wonderful people.

The highlight of our first four years of marriage came on March 7, 2007. He weighed 8pounds 6 ounces and was 22 1/2 inches long. Tyler Stephen Pulley has been the best part of our marriage!

Tag, Tyler's It
So Tyler was tagged by none other than Will Nicoll. So here are eight things that you might not know about Tyler Stephen Pulley.
1. Even though his nickname is Smiler Tyler, he RARELY smiles when we try to take his picture. He smiles only when he thinks he is being funny...or if he is being tickled. Needless to say, we tickle him a lot!
2. He can count to the number two but thinks the number three is a foreign language.
3. He was the fifth grandchild, in a row, on the Pulley side to be born on the 7th of a month. Also he completed the cycle by making it one child from each of the five siblings.

4. Tyler won't let me rock him to sleep. Even if his eyes are closed after his bottle in my arms, he squirms until I put him in his bed.
5. He knows ten signs for sign language: more, milk, banana, fruit, bath, please, flower, bread, finished, and light. He can also say words like no, bye, hi, boo, go, uh-oh, poop, burp, that, shoe, dad and mom. He knows the word 'no' so well, that while he is reaching for something he knows he shouldn't be, like the toilet, he'll say 'no no no.'
6. He knows what sound an elephant, duck, sheep, dog, monkey, cow, lion, cat and fish make. I know you are thinking a fish doesn't make a sound, but when we say "Tyler, what does a fish say?" He makes a super cute fish face.
7. From the day Tyler was born, even in the hospital, we knew that he was a laid back and easy going baby. In fact, he rarely cried as a baby. I was actually surprised at how little he cried.
8. Steve and I know this but don't know if you do that Tyler is the best and cutest baby ever born!

Tyler tags Michelle Thornton, Hayden Brasher, and Avery Jones.
